Bassist James Rosocha holds a Bachelor of Music degree from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. A student of New Jersey's late jazz legend/ guitarist Harry Leahey and Dixie Dregs/ Steve Morse Band -bassist Dave LaRue, James has worked with various theater, blues, R&B, salsa, jazz, fusion, funk and rock groups and has been fortunate to share the stage with jazz trumpet legend Randy Brecker, guitarist Hiram Bullock, Jay Beckenstein and Jeremy Wall of Spyro Gyro and Phish leader Trey Anastasio. He appears alongside Trey in the new Phish Companion book, which documents the band's history and music. Throughout his entire career, James has remained a long-time member of the BD Lenz Jazz Quintet who is signed to the NY jazz label "Apria Records" and who's music appears on various TV and radio programs. See James and bassist Marcus Miller in the January 2007 issue of Bass Player Magazine. James endorses Spector basses and Eden Amplifiers.

I am a huge supporter of the blues and my number one blues baby is the guy you see me attached to in my profile pic.  Alan Sarrett who had the priviledge to play with Mr. Powers at Terra Blues just last week.  It was a great event and fun was had by all. I learned of this web site from is beautiful wife who encouraged me to keep in touch with them.
