Blues and guitar enthusiast from the North Shore of Massachusetts and member of the Granite State Blues Society (New Hampshire). I was so happy to meet Michael Powers, Danny Lane and Tospey in NYC at Terra Blues in NYC on Friday 3/4/11. I loved, Loved, LOVED every minute of the show and conversation. Especially loved Little Wing and Stone Free. Danny Lane's bottleneck slide was fabulous. It absolutely made my weekend. I will be back in town the end of May and I'm really looking forward to seeing you all again. This is a picture of my rescued pug "one-eyed Lilly"...also lovingly referred to as "The All Seeing Eye"...bet Danny Lane (with his love for the Eye of Horus) would get a kick out of that one...lol. About Me
I am a classically trained pianist since the age of 5. I was a performance/music ed. major in college who decided to travel the 'safe' road and have been a public school music educator for the past 26 years. I am a keyboard cross-over artist for the past year or so, although I still love musical theater and play as many theater gigs as I can. Picked up electric bass about a year ago and realized that it is the instrument I was always destined to play. Acquired a 1/2 size upright bass recently, which I also love. Both keyboards and bass: blues, jazz, R&B, soul, funk... anything fun. I am also a sketch artist who specializes in gray-scale wildlife illustration but also have some color pieces. CD cover design through original photography and artwork.
